It's pretty common coach speak. I think the take-away pt
by Golden was that he expected his team to win that night, & that they had more than their share of opportunities to keep us in the hole, but simply didn't get it done.
Next to the Zags, I think we are the "next up" as the juggernaut of the conference. That is how USF fans & players have come to view us, & I think Golden's pt was to say that that WASN'T the case with last night's loss. He believes that his team SHOULD'VE put in a winning performance.
And yet they didn't.
