On hires, executive raises, etc will see some very hard times.

The smartest businesses were the ones that went full remote- they cut a major expense that was then just frivolously throwing money away for the argument of keeping employees together. Any tech job can be done from home- any company that says otherwise is a micromanagement company and is likely headed down a dark path, especially if they signed new leases during the last two years. The choice will be made to fire people and scale way back
