When teams get good wings in the NBA, they tend to hold onto them because of how valuable they are. The Warriors let Barnes walk because of the Durant deal, but otherwise they would've absolutely held onto him because he was a good/solid wing. Wiggins was/is overpaid but he plays an indispensable position. And the fact is that you can win a title with holes in your roster, but not at the wing spot. A prime example is the fact that the Jazz have been looking for a wing since Hayward left and have struggled in the playoffs both offensively & defensively because they don't have one. Landing a Harrison Barnes type player would feel like a huge get for that franchise at this point.
