He ripped off my cousin almost 100%. He mentions him in the book but not to the extent he should have. He basically took his research, put it in a book, and published it.
My cousin is a professor at Stanford named BJ Fogg. He started something called the persuasive technology lab there at Stanford. His students have started hundreds of the biggest brands in tech, including things like instagram. Look up his Ted Talks and other stuff on social media. He’s brilliant.
BJ is also a BYU grad, btw.
BJ has a book called Tiny Habits that is pretty similar (since Clear ripped off his stuff). BJ has been publishing the information and studies for years before Atomic Habits was released.
