True for competition but I think the decisions will be market-based

Yes. The markets that pay out for college FB, specifically.

Everyone knows Rutgers would be dead in the water if they weren't a piggy-backer

That’s my point. These decisions are market-based more than they are competition

Rutgers would not be in the conversation right now if they were an outsider

The B10 is pretty good about adding dead weight along with blue bloods so that would be on-brand

I don't think so.

Certainly could be. If the plan is to go beyond USC/UCLA very shortly

This feels correct. I'm confused as to why the premise of the OP was theorizing

I don't think the BIG10 is going to poach anyone else from the PAC. They've got

Clemson isn't AAU. Clemson will be off to SEC (along with FSU and Miami).

Contrary to what CFB talking heads think, Oregon doesn't bring additional money to the table

Call me naive, but who cares about academics… it’s football?

COLLEGE football. There's millions of rabid FB fans in this country who say

Not compared to Cal and Stanford. If the B1G added Rutgers and MD, then it could take Cal and Stanford.
