I am in no way saying we shouldn't help the one. I'm concerned that the mindset
of being too risk-averse may actually cause more harm overall. What if the way you treated your child actually have them the BEST chance at a good/happy life but it ended up in suicide? What if a total change of the way you parented could have reduced the risk of suicide but INCREASED the risk of a harder/sadder/less fulfilling life?
