These sound like tics. More of a psychiatric issue than a neurologic issue.

Good luck with the work up. Might not be a bad idea to start with her pediatrician though so you can get pointed in the right direction after a proper history and physical exam.

If true, paying attention to the tics can make them worse. My son had weird tics as a younger kid. It killed me...
