Production based pay from hourly. It lines up better with the work we do, and netted out all of our existing employees to higher pay by anywhere from 10-30%. One employee, who would gain the most, refused for 6 months to switch. After 6 months I wrote her a check and told her that amount was she had missed. She accepted the check and the change right then. But it was interesting how difficult it was to help her see how it benefited her since it wasn’t her norm.
