him for not jumping on a small guard that was not heavily recruited and just got home from 2 years off of basketball. He didn’t do much at USU until this year. I wouldn’t call him a “miss” for BYU. Pope already had a RM guard coming home. Sometimes players overachieve and really develop. As they say, hindsight is 20/20.
