you, the book The Lost City of the Monkey God (nonfiction) is incredible. They used this same technology to discover a mythologized city in Honduras that is believed to have been geographically cut off from all human contact for hundreds of years after it collapsed. Seems impossible that places like that still exist—it’s far less romantic than the movies make it out to be, but was still very exciting to read the book. It’s great.
There’s also a documentary by the same name that is produced by the same people.
