Intervention Needed
Like you said wingspan is important in the NBA. And the shorter you are
the more quickness is critical.
Can Hall create his own shot? Another critical area for an NBA PG.

Kyle Collingsworth only had a brief NBA career. But Hall will?

Strictly as a PG, he's more qualified than Kyle in all things NBA except size, imo.

Kyle was a much better athlete

I wouldn't say much better. His length & height made it seem so. They're both okay athletes w/ better-than-ave strength.

That is not accurate at all

So KC was quicker than Hall? (Not really.) Faster than Hall? (Not really.) More vertical than Hall? If he were,

Yes to all

You saw & remember what you want, then. The WCC played a hand in making KC look physically dominating.

Too Slow to be an NBA PG, Too Poor a Shooter to be Anything Else

His shooting was too limited. That's what killed his chance to stay

Hall has better handles and is a better shooter. I don't think he makes the NBA

KC was way more athletic and at least as good as a passer.

Had KC been 6'2-6'3 — even w his superior reach — I doubt you'd confuse him as a much better athlete than Hall.

Hall is slower and has very little explosion. KC was a better athlete at 17 than

Yet he did okay in the Big 12 guarding the PG spot. (Better than I thought he'd do, to be honest.)

He was fantastic as a help defender but that has more to do with his basketball

For a 6'3, solid-build white guy — he's got pretty good quickness, imo.

I wasnt trying to imply he doesn't. I actually like his defense more than

If he keeps improving his shooting, he has a chance. It's not a great chance

I think predicting an NBA career may be the hardest thing to do in sports.

It's unfair in a way. Now that it's a world league the talent pool is crazy

once you carve out a role and last for ~2-3 years, you tend to stay

One of the holes I see in Hall's game is finishing around the rim.

Poor finisher and FT shooter. That’s not ok for a PG with limited athleticism.
