Cheat on me. I see your point, but I equate this more to hiring an employee that had had 6 jobs in 7 years. You know he/she is gone when the next better thing comes along. Unfortunately, we are teaching teenagers that getting paid is the be all end all. Many on here agree saying you have a short window to cash in. I think this is short sighted. A few hundred thousand in the hands of the average teen is not life changing. Maybe they have a good support system and the money is not squandered and could actually be a good thing. However, since most will not play professionally, I would argue taking the best education opportunity and staying put for 4 years for less NIL is the better long term play for most. Better for your education, for developing your game and most importantly for developing long term relationship and coping skills. I think we are doing these kids a great disservice to their long term financial and emotional well being.
