I’ve had the sciatica nerve pain to that level too. There is a stretch, laying
on my back, pulling my knees to my chest. It helps for a minute…along with Aleve.
Ultimately the only thing that works for me (I have bulging discs) is the epidural injections.
I assume you’ve had an mri? Sounds like you have bulging disc(s).

MRI 4 years ago. Arthritis and narrowing but didn't say anything about discs then. I take celebrix and gabapentin daily

Lots of good advice here. For many naproxen is better than ibuprofen for MSK pain. I’d do 440mg of naproxen or 800mg
