The problem is unlimited transfers/ unregulated transfers. If NIL payments are tied to contracts and paid out over years the transfers will slow. NIL can be tied to a player being local to whoever pays the NIL reasonably and legally through contracts. Paying a player for NIL that isn't local makes no financial or reasonable sense. No court should rule otherwise.
If a court rules that transfers are no longer unlimited, things will slow down.
Anyone that has issues with players, or really anyone, earning/ being paid what they can/ are worth (and you are generally worth whatever someone is willing to pay you), has odd opinions.
