I was 23. She was 18. It was kind of weird. There was no big moment. After a few weeks we just started talking about when we would get married. No grand gesture. No soul searching. After a few weeks we just started planning the logistics.

I don't necessarily recommend that strategy to everyone, and I would certainly council my children to be wary...but in our case after a few weeks getting married was just obvious to both of us.
