Sure, it would be great to have another Heisman-level QB sitting on the bench, but that's not reality for almost any program. The BYU QB pipeline is finally looking like it should after a number of years of relatively weak QB play. I understand that Mangum is unproven at this point, but you don't get any better recruit than he is. There's no way you can complain about having a guy like Mangum backing up a guy like Taysom. That's as good of a 1-2 situation at QB as you'll find anywhere in the country.
