Don't they have a choice? Doesn't a son have the right to forge his own path? Who decreed that BYU has divine right?
I think Bronco with KVN has clearly shown that he will work with players. But what if Te'o decided...yea...not so much. I don't want the risk? It's his call, right?
And don't think players don't know how much harder they will have to work academically at BYU than Utah. Utah is a joke...and even more a joke for players. At BYU, they are going to do their own projects, write their own essays, be expected to actually learn. Yes, there is a robust support network...but BYU takes academics seriously.
