How many 26 year-old QBs would still be on the same team when their 30, if they're still even in the league? Even at that age, it would seem he'd still be in his physical prime. I think Billy might have an argument for a running back, but I can't see how Taysom's age is that big of a problem. I can, however, see how multiple leg injuries are a BIG problem, especially for a QB with Taysom's style.
IMO, BYU's offensive line and receivers just were NOT that bad last year. They improved DRASTICALLY over the year before. Virginia's one strength was their pass rush, and it exposed our line's weaknesses. I think Leslie's route running was superb. The blase play calling, however, made BYU's offense more predictable. Hopefully Anae injects a little more creativity and variation this year.
