Arguably most of the best bands of the 60s, 70s, 80s (?) are all British. The 90s bands I listen to are also British
1960s: Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Who, The Kinks, The Hollies.
1970s: Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd. (But Aerosmith certainly deserves a mention I guess).
1980s: The Smiths, Def Leppard, Duran Duran,.............U2 (But I'll give you Metallica and Guns N' Roses here)
1990s: Oasis, Radio Head.
