Walk-on
Its really not though. If you are any distance away its generally fine
I get that like the provo bay area is kinda ugly, but if you look at the lake from a mile+ away it is actually very pretty
Getting rid of the lake would be a terrible, terrible idea

It's not as bad as you are thinking it is. Nothing that other booming Utah areas haven't dealt with before.

3/20/17 10:54pm
It actually is. The guy who buys water rights is a friend. It could get bad

all you have to do to accomplish that is blow up the dam in Lehi
Nat Gas Man
3/20/17 10:22pm
What dam would that be?
BYU Grounds
3/21/17 10:07am
there is a small control dam on the Jordan River that regulates how much water

As beautiful as Europe? Riiiight.
Kerbouchard
3/20/17 10:17pm
Depends on what part of Europe.
chilango
3/20/17 10:19pm
Ask Europeans where they think the most beautiful place is.
Downtown

And the answer won't be Utah County, that's for sure.

Comparing a 2,000 square mile county to a continent...
Caboom

Yeah, that's what I meant...actually I meant Kauai
Downtown
3/20/17 10:52pm

The real problem is when the early pioneers brought carp.

Just blow it up. That'll kill all the carp.

If Utah Lake (and connecting canals, etc.) was magically free of carp right now...

3/20/17 11:53pm
Just image a nice, clean Utah Lake. That would be a real boon to the area.
mudpupper

If the lake was half the size but twice as deep it would be a real boon to Utah
HootnHoller

If they only filled Provo and Goshen Bay, it would be an improvement...
