I had a family member who visited a new chiropractor. Before the second visit they had a weird "meeting with her and the chiropractor where they tried pressuring her into a maintanance plan where she paid in advance for a set number of visits before she could come back. She said no thank you. And now I and everyone I can tell about it avoids that office.
