It's the winning the state meet of all 4 events that's super impressive. The training regimens are dramatically different between the sprints and middle distance. She obviously was training up to 800 meters. You don't find that fast twitch athlete in too many 800 meter runners where they can win state at 100 meters too. The other girls she competed against specialized in sprints and she still whipped them.
She won't be able to do that in college, but I suspect that she'll be elite in everything from 400 meters to 1500 meters with the right coaching. Very few middle distance runners have those kind of jets.
