conferences. I think we all know that the 4th spot in the playoff goes to the SEC. But to have two conference champions, who only lost to BYU the undefeated independent in the playoff and BYU outside would be criminal.

Washington does play Auburn, but Wisconsin plays New Mexico and Western Kentucky
