With two SEC losses my Gamecocks are already out of any significant goals for the season. The starting QB went down injured last week during the 5th straight embarrassing loss to Kentucky. They got down early double digits to Missouri. And they fought and they clawed their way back in a pouring rain and hail storm to a win.

Nothing to play for? Don't give me that crap. Winning the state title was plenty to play for. Of course they sucked that chance away. Not losing an 8th or 9th or whatever the crap in a row it is now is still plenty to play for, but this team has already quit so that ain't happening.


This team is playing like a bottom tier MWC school, so if a puny and meaningless MWC title is the magic pill you think this team needs in order to not quit and not suck, just keep in mind they would already not have that to play for, either. They just got curb stomped by an average MWC school.
