BSU was granted a trademark because they were the first to install non-green
turf way back in 1986. Like it or not, it's a huge recruiting advantage and is iconic.
Granted, the current blue turf is in horrible shape and I understand your bowl game will be the last game played on this particular rug. I hear the new turf will have different infill but will still be blue.
