And frankly, by then the boos were somewhat deserved. That's not a slow start, or "we're not gonna win every game". That's a combination of a (frankly) atrocious home record, jacked up ticket prices, and completely uninspired play.

As a fan I dont go to games expecting to win every game (though I'd like to). I just want to see whatever team I'm cheering for compete. Up until then, they weren't doing that.
