Do you mean ankle support or cushioning?
if it is ankle, I would go with a brace as they provide a lot more support than any shoe does.

The ASO brace is good for most, but if you need more support than that, the Zamst A2-DX has rigid support and it's the brace Curry has used post ankle surgery.

I wear the Nike Hyperdunk to play and they work pretty good on slick church gym floors. I have not had any shoes in the recent past with traction issues.
