I usually buy 1-2 pairs a year and like to build out my collection. For traction, and right now is my favorite line of shoes that I get at least 1 pair of the newest model is the Kyrie line. Some of the best traction on the market, as it is designed with Kyrie's game in mind. Pretty good support as well, I've never turned my ankle in a pair yet. Another good traction shoes I really liked that were light were the Kobe Elite Low. My best support shoe is the Lebron Soldier 10's
I used to turn my ankle quite a bit a couple years ago and they kept getting weaker and weaker due to re-injury. So I started to wear ankle braces while I played that I bought from CVS until they could fully heal and I could trust them again. Now I haven't turned an ankle in quite a while.
