It wouldn't change my answer, because the answer is "no" either way
It would confirm that it's the right answer for that child, because apparently she is willing to do stupid things at the suggestion of her friends.

My 15-year-old got our car up to 100 somewhere between Burley and Twin Falls on our way to Boise for the bowl game. I didn't know it at the time, but on the way home he was driving and I noticed he had it around 90. I just said to watch your speed, and he laughed a little. I asked what was so funny, and he sheepishly said he had reached 100 a couple times on the way to Boise. Doing that on a highway where the speed limit is 80 and everyone is doing 90+ is quite a bit different than doing it on a surface street with a 40 limit.
