Sitake did at Oregon State once Whittingham wasn’t running his defense?
The only thing crazier than BYU hiring Sitake and Tuiaki coming off that season was hiring an offensive coordinator with zero collegiate coaching experience.
In comparison, hiring Lance Anderson looks like a no-brainer.
I mean, it’s not like there was a candidate out there who has experience taking a program with serious recruiting and athletic limitations and making them nationally relevant. Or a candidate with a Super Bowl ring, or one putting up impressive offensive statistics at smaller schools. We had one choice and thank heavens he’s our guy.
