Statistics don’t lie — Crowton had better records, both in his first three years
and for his tenure, and against tougher schedules. Like I said, you have to go back to the early 1960s to find a coach with a worse winning percentage both over the first three seasons, over their career, and compared to the final three seasons of his predecessor.
If we’re cool keeping guys like that around, it seems like a double-standard to be livid with Dave Rose when you compare the resumes.
