Someone on this board wrote up a great analogy a couple of weeks ago.
You’re trying to escape from a burning building, about to jump out the window. All your family is yelling at you to not jump, but they can’t see and feel the flames behind you. To them, jumping seems crazy and like such an obviously bad choice. But to you, it’s the only choice that makes sense.

I’m someone who has struggled with this stuff. I really appreciate that insight. Can’t remember the posters name.
