RE: Just to be clear
I posted it for 2 reasons.

1. Recruiting nowadays is a lot about recognition. I happen to live 2000 miles from the school where my son wants to play. I thought it would be good to let people see him 5 years before he would sign to play somewhere 1 or 2 videos a year on the fan site of the school where he wants to play doesn't seem excessive to me. It sure got a fire lit under you. Must've worked. 🙂

2. Yes, as I mentioned in the OP I am seeking a sort of validation. I am curious how he compares to some of the local talent in BYU's main recruiting pool. That would be his competition for a spot. Since I live in Ga I don't really know how he compares to some of the local kids.

The last I'll say on the subject is that I see the hours he puts in every day and how much it has helped him grow as he pursues his goals. I'm going to do everything on my end to support those goals within reason. That's my side of the equation and in today's recruiting world highlight videos are how athletes are first seen unless it's in person. So I downloaded a free app spent 30 mins and made a highlight video.
