Blow that post off....
I posted my sons qb highlights on here a few years back, his freshman year actually, and got mostly negative feedback and a bunch of guys telling me how average he was, poor arm, slow release, blah, blah, blah. All he did as a senior was become all state, took his team to the 6A state championship game, had one of the top 5 season in Utah high school history, set 4 state records, and got an FBS scholarship to the university of Hawaii plus multiple other FBS and FCS offers. Oh and that poor arm throws a 90 mph fastball and a football 70 yards so that tells you the level of evaluation you’re going to get on CB or any message board.

I guess what I’m saying is that it is fun to post your kids highlights and ask for opinions, but keep in mind whose opinions you’re asking for because these are message board lurkers and posters and not D1, or probably even HS, coaches and almost none of them played college sports or were anything great in HS sports. Your kid obviously is a good player in my novice opinion so what it will really come down to is how athletic he remains as his body matures and how hard he works to improve. I’m gonna agree with SMR above that it is a long shot to play for BYU, or any D1 school, only a small percentage of athletes ever do, but as my son showed there are kids that do so IMO if that is what a kid wants he should go all out to achieve it and his parents should do everything they can within reason to support and help facilitate it.

Good luck, I hope he makes it and keep us up to date because I personally love this kind of stuff and love to have a reason to follow young athletes and see what they become.
