Lakers eye impact player or trade with 4th pick

After a chaotic start to the offseason, the Lakers were one of the big winners in Tuesday's NBA draft lottery, jumping from 11th to fourth overall -- a pick GM Rob Pelinka called "a powerful asset for us."

They are either going to draft an impact player or trade the pick for an impact player.

It's a bold strategy cotton.

I wonder why the Lakers didn't try to draft impact players in the previous draft?
