21st century. I was once like you, stubborn and sick of the hype, until a good friend introduced me to the show. Yes, there is some disturbing content. Yes, the last season faltered a bit. But overall it is an amazing and life-changing experience. If anything, the greater transgression may be not to watch it. The acting, the dialogue, the production values, the cinematography — all have revolutionized television as we know it.
