d how companies like Carmax can completely low-ball people when buying their cars?
The headache is enormous. Countless stupid questions. "Is it still available?", "How fast can it drive?", "Would you take a trade and cash for my motorcycle?"
And that's only the beginning. Then you've got the scammers, wasting your time.
THEN, when you finally have a buyer, they don't have all the money, but they won't tell you, hoping they'll get it by the time you're supposed to meet. Then they want you to drive it to a mechanic, pay for an inspection for them, offer you half of the cash to transfer title and get State inspection done (which they want you to pay for).
It's only been 2 weeks, and I'm ready to give my car away for 70% off to one of these wholesalers just to make the headache go away.
