If you look at a state map that shows the national forests on it...
You can see the Sawtooth national forest extending down into that area.

It is actually a really neat area, probably as remote an area as there is in the state because it is cut off by the great salt lake from most of the population.

There is also quite a bit of grassland out there.

Most of the people that live out there are polygamists I think, they have some large farms and ranches.

I think most of the people that recreate out there are from Idaho, they have easier access to the area than Utahns do as they just drive south and don’t have a massive lake in between them and the area.
