There are some ranking systems where we were outside the top 8 and wouldn't have gotten 2 seed. I think this was a reasonable seed. There are arguments for a better and worse seed.

Not just any 2 seed either. The last of the 2 seeds. Which means we'd play #1 ranked Stanford in the quarterfinal.

I don't know either. It has nothing to do with seeding for March Madness so I've assumed it's the same in soccer. But
