Not sure it's worth the risk for himself. If I was smith I'd rather be making

less money on a team that could surround me by talent and good coaches, not sure who that'd be.

From the Redskins perspective, they have to realize that Cousins wasn't the issue, and I can't believe that they think Smith has a higher ceiling than Cousins. Looks like 71M of 90M+ contract is guaranteed, it might be best trading him.
