Those mountains are spectacular. . .when you can see them through the inversion and the forest of billboards. The entire development of the Wasatch Front is and endless sea of strip malls and subdivisions, which is going to choke Utah's growth once the natural limits of growth but up against the western mountain ranges. That's already happening, to a certain extent, if you look at home prices.
Give Utah another ten years, maybe twenty. It will be almost unaffordable for families, and then the politics will go in the same direction as California's. People will look to strange laws and to politicians making crazy promises to solve their problems.
