Couple issues I see with that:
1. While it is true a smaller percentage of the young/healthy need hospitalization, enough do that if we let it spread like wildfire through the general population we still might get overloaded.

2. You can't 100% isolate the high risk group. That is a huge number of people that still need help from the outside world. If the general population all has the disease, then who helps the high risk individuals?
