Question about flattening the curve
So I get that we are trying to sort of ease into this virus so that not everyone is all exposed at once and our healthcare system gets overloaded.

From what I understand, a very small percentage of people who are young and healthy require anything from a doctor or hospital. So there really isn’t any concern that they would be overloading our healthcare system right?

If we just told all elderly, immunocompromised, or at risk people to quarantine and let everyone else go about their business as usual wouldn’t that be fine? I just can’t imagine that scenario would lead to our hospitals being overrun based on what I have read about the virus.

Am I totally wrong here? Just tell everyone to maybe not go visit grandma and grandpa for a couple months?
