The decision will be made much sooner.

Gary Patterson said that the players would need 8 weeks of strength and conditioning, followed by a month-old long fall camp. If the timeline is correct, the process would have to begin the last week.of May. Any delay beyond that point and the need to at least shorten the season comes to the forefront.
