Rumors say they are killing off the standard Speedy Pro..
Its kind of sad.. but the days of Omega being 'affordable' are over. There are tons of articles (watch nerd talk) of the current Speedmaster Pro's being out of stock all over the world. It doesn't seem like they are making many of the 'basic' moon watches anymore (~$5k).

The new Omega Speedmaster Pro 321 is priced at $14,000...

It sounds like Omega wants to price the Speedmaster Pro alongside the Rolex Daytona.

Thats good if you have one of the older Speedy pros... because those values keep going up each year.

Like I said in that other post, I paid $800 for a 1968 Speedmaster pro ~20 years ago... It's now selling for over $8k.
