I think the damage is not severe but still significant nonetheless. Hurts pretty bad. At rest they both ache. Motrin helps. During sleep, when I adjust my sleeping position, it’s sharp pain. I can walk but it helps to keep my legs straight (kind of like Forrest Gump as a kid with his leg braces).
We were playing in one of those large water trampoline things. It had one of those aqua balloon launch things. I asked a couple other guys to launch me so I jumped onto the balloon to get into position. I landed in my knees (intentionally) to brace my landing in order to get into position. Well, when I landed, as far as I can conclude, the balloon forced my feet apart and I think that did the damage! Immediate 10/10 pain. I swam to shore and it wasn’t too bad right off the bat. But within minutes the soreness and stiffness set in.
