It took me about 10 minutes to realize what a scam they were. In our intro meeting on the first day, they showed us a presentation and talked about how a farmer had a horse's hoof severed so he reattached it with a bandage and soaked it in noni overnight and the next day it was healed. I laughed out loud and got some glares.
It was one of the higher paying jobs in Provo at the time, so I stuck it out. Once I made sales support, I would handle calls of people wanting to cancel. By their terms, you couldn't cancel unless you submitted in writing 10+ days before your autopayment was due ($120 per month for four 1-liter bottles). However, we could make an exception if they claimed four different things, including "financial hardship." So I would just keep talking to them and would prod them to talk about how they were having "financial hardship" and then cancel them right there on the phone.
It was really terrible seeing how many people signed up because they thought they would make a ton of money and then realize after they're $1,000+ in the hole that they're just burning their money.
