So much wrong with this post. BYU was built for NCAA tourney success. Post play,
guard play, defense, and shooting.
And Gonzaga was a legit title contender. 5 wins over projected single digit NCAA tournament teams in WCC league play (5-1 vs. BYU and SMC). A 30 point win over Texas A&M, wins against projected 4-seed Oregon and projected 7-seed Arizona, and wins vs. Washington, and North Carolina. A footnote 35 point shellacking (112-77) of projected 14-seed and Big Sky Champion Eastern Washington.
7-2 vs. projected Top 8 seeds and zero bad or middling losses. That's a stacked, flawless resume. BYU beat a legit Top 3 team and title contender last season in the MC.
