Because I had transferred about $250 over to it from a Coinbase account in 2018 when this was going on. Not a lot of money but just something to speculate on some coins that Coinbase didn’t offer at that time. I have tried off and on for 3 years to try to get it and finally someone on CB helped me and I was able to get Binance to transfer it back to Coinbase for me. That $250 from 2018 had some Bitcoin and some other coins that are now obsolete but the transfer ended up being just over $1000 with the latest spike. But Coinbase is barely any better if you forget your password, no wonder it feels illegal, logging in on a new phone or computer is nearly impossible with some of these companies.
