Do I think he could do much better with actual dialogue...who's to say.
The good thing about it is you're not really supposed to take any of it seriously. I haven't seen such bad dialogue since the Star Wars prequels... Except in that case, Lucas didn't realize it was bad dialogue. Just the rest of us did.
In this case, I think everybody involved is in on the inside joke and they just roll with it.
They've gone pretty far over the edge in making his character just completely bumbling and sophomoric. I do hope they redeem his character a little bit like they had done to begin the show, because frankly, his character is actually the glue that holds the show together. Everyone else is just props in his redemption story.
